We are in Samara and still struggling with this primitive people’s communication systems (3G)
I did manage to get a few game pictures posted.
This is Uruguay vs Russia. It was 80% russians 20% Uruguayans and us. I had been worried that this would be the rowdy game. Russian fans have gotten a hooligan reputation. Even though Uruguay killed them 3-0 it was no problem. Mostly people were posing for pictures with each other.
Maybe it was because both teams already made it through group stage. Maybe because there were no hard liquor sales in Samara on match day. In the end, all the Russians we talk to are just astonished they are doing so well
Minor face painting. I ended up with Polish flag on one cheek and Colombia on the other. I was torn between my heritage and the team we are following

This is back from the Spain Iran game. I’m not sure why these guys are wearing dresses but people lined up to get pictures with them.
