We managed to squeeze one more country into this trip, Montenegro. It made for a lot no day on a mini bus. I think it was 6 hrs driving and 5 hrs sight seeing. It didn’t help that the Montenegro border station lost power and couldn’t scan passport.
The trip loops around the Bay of Kotor with the it stop being the walled city Kotor. It’s supposed to resemble a butterfly and has some place in Greek mythology. There’s a ferry that shortcuts the way back mid-butterfly.
One cool stop is a small island in the top left wing. We take a little boat out and there’s a church. But mostly it’s a great view.
Here’s the only shot I took of Kotor….I’ll update in a bit when I get to Susannah’s phone
The best view was where we had lunch
